The Common Sense Of Faith

Updated: 2 days ago

Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right

Proverbs 20:11

The esoteric principle of Proverbs 3:21-22 lends clear thinking and common sense to the conscious mind. Keeping your mind protected from outside forces is not easy to do, but it can be done. First one has to realize the divine mind or Christ consciousness that resides inside of you. Once you become aware that this mind is there, you will begin to feel and think differently. To be fit and attractive, one has to feel healthy and attractive.

One has to be mentally and physically fit for all the good that you deserve. Yes, you deserve everything good because that is the gift that all humans were endowed with by our creator. However, many do not realize this concept. They allow guilt and shame to keep them unfit and unattractive. Unattractive is not about outward appearances. It is about attracting every good thing that life has to offer to you.

Terrible thoughts attract terrible people and circumstances. Also embedded in that guilt and shame is doubt. Doubt can lead to anxiety, thus leading to a change in your biology, and you begin to feel discomfort (dis-ease) in your body. The scripture is definite when it relays that clear thinking, and common sense will keep you alive and well.

None of us know what is in us till we try to bring it out. A man, or a woman, may go their whole life with some incredible power, some remarkable talent which would benefit and please mankind. He or she has bright glimpses of it every now and then. However, just when they're ready to align with the power within, clarity of mind once again becomes clouded by those fatal words " I can't."

So, to stop this hurtful cycle, one must continually use their imagination to see themselves being doing and having all the good that they desire. Clarity of mind comes with the belief that the infinite power that created you has given you permission to create and shape your own environment. I believe people fail to have clarity of mind because he or she has been taught that they are separate from the infinite (God). So they waddle in guilt and shame and allow the world mind to define their lives.

To free yourself is going to take a lot of practice but it can be done. The same mindset that many great spiritual leaders possessed is also in you. Philippians chapter 2 verse 5 places emphasis on this; let the same mind that Jesus possessed also be in you.

Jesus possessed the Christ mind or anointed thought, and what I mean of possession is that he took ownership of the creative spirit that was given to us by the infinite. This same Jesus always reminded the people of his time that the infinite is right and everyone has the infinite in them. That is why he opens the model prayer with "Our Father."

The following prayer/affirmation will begin to free you from negative thoughts, and put you in the excellent place you desire to be. Say it consistently with conviction and feeling until you remember it verbatim…

I am in my true place. I am doing what I love to do. I am divinely happy. I am divinely prospered.

Thank you, Infinite father
